| Mixing in NYC - DAY 8 |

We've just finished I Don't Mind but left it on the board for the night so that we can listen to it fresh in the morning. Earlier today we finished Mr.Big, which I put some gutsy telecaster on for the outro, and that worked a treat. I had double tracked the lead voice in New Orleans but we decided to keep it as a single lead voice for more character.
I am very pleased with the progress we're making, we should be able to mix 24/7 tomorrow which leaves us two days to revisit some songs which I'm not sure about. It's mostly due to the fact that this album sounds so different from anything I've done before and it's taken me a while to figure out how I want it to sound. Added to that is the new studio sound from here, which is somewhere new for my ears to get used to. So with that I will bid you goodnight.
