Settled into the New York studio now and we've nearly finished Beauty, which is probably going to be the opening track.
Tony Visconti discovered that the bass recording was out of phase slightly with the DI bass recording, so once that was corrected the bass really started pumping. He suggested some surf handclaps for the choruses, so down they went. I wanted to highlight the softness of the percussion so we've added a breath every bar in the intros and the verses.
